The vegan leather feels surprisingly smooth against my skin, no plastic-y stiffness at all. The X in front sits exactly where I wanted, and the shoulder straps stay put even when I move around. Wore it over a plain black dress and got asked where it was from twice.

The straps have a nice weight to them, not flimsy at all, and the vegan leather feels smooth against the skin right out of the package. I was worried about the hook closures digging in, but they sit comfortably under the shoulders even after a few hours of wear.

The X-cross shape sits perfectly flat under a shirt without digging in, and the smooth vegan straps feel surprisingly soft against bare skin. I've worn it for a full evening and forgot it was even there.
